European Exploration: The Modern Revolution

What does modernity mean? Some people say we began modern times with the industrial revolution, or the French revolution. We define the modern revolution as beginning with early modern history in 1500 around the time of the European renaissance and modern modern history began around 1750.

By the year 1400 humanity had advanced to an impressive state, but it wasn’t until European exploration began when we began to  really advance as a species. The Europeans were cut off from certain trade routes, they also always had beneficial explorations and through these they united the four world zones into a united global system.

This video takes us through humanity revolution into modernity, and the  benefits our species has seen from it.
